Custom Indoor Saunas Built for St. Petersburg Homes
An indoor sauna is one of the most rewarding investments a homeowner can make. Beyond the daily wellness benefits — stress relief, improved circulation, muscle recovery, and better sleep — a professionally built indoor sauna adds genuine value to your home and creates a private retreat that's available 365 days a year, regardless of weather.
At St. Petersburg Sauna Builders, we design and construct custom indoor sauna rooms that integrate seamlessly into your home's existing footprint. Whether you're converting a spare bathroom, carving out space in a basement, or dedicating an entire room to wellness, our team handles every technical detail from structural framing and insulation through vapor barriers, paneling, electrical hookup, and final finish work.
We work with only premium, kiln-dried wood species selected specifically for sauna environments — Western Red Cedar, Nordic Spruce, and Aspen — that stay cool to the touch, resist moisture, and develop a beautiful patina over time.

Choose Your Sauna Heating Style
Finnish Electric
The classic sauna experience. Produces dry heat with löyly (steam) when water is poured over hot stones. Temperatures of 170–195°F.
Infrared
Lower ambient temperatures (120–150°F) with deep-penetrating infrared heat. Ideal for those sensitive to high heat. Energy efficient.
Wood-Burning
The most traditional sauna experience. A wood-burning kiuas creates authentic dry heat without electricity. Requires proper venting.
